Self-service Kift

The self-service Kift

Want to gift an experience at a business that has not joined KiftMe yet? You can create a self-service Kift. This temporary path lets the recipient use their Kift with a receipt.

Gift a specific experience worth between €1 and €30.

The recipient enjoys the experience, pays for it and keeps the receipt.

They upload the receipt and receive the amount covered by the Kift.

You pay the gift amount and an all-inclusive fee of 6% + €0.40.

For a Kift worth €15, you pay €16.30.
Once the receipt is approved, the recipient receives the gift amount through their payment method: €15 for a Kift worth €15.
Self-service is designed for small gifts: up to €30 per Kift depending on the supporting document available, within the applicable limits per person and per business.

Who pays, when they pay and in which path.

No. At a partner business, the service fee starts at €0.90 and becomes 2% above {threshold}. In self-service, the fee is 6% + €0.40. For businesses, the commission is 3% + €0.25, plus the actual payment processing fees.
The giver pays the Kift amount and the fees shown before confirmation. At a partner business, the business pays its commission when the Kift is redeemed. In self-service, the recipient pays for the experience first, then receives the amount covered after their receipt is approved.
Prices shown to consumers include tax. Business commissions are shown excluding tax.
The recipient can cancel the Kift before using it. The amount you gifted is then refunded to you. The service fee is retained, except in the specific cases set out in the refund terms.
