Sharing what you think about what moves you is sharing a part of yourself.
KiftMe started with a simple idea: create a space where people can express what they truly think about the things they care about, without feeling like they are speaking to just anyone or into the void.
How it all began
It was my final year of studies. I was alone abroad and, one evening, a series left a deep mark on me. I needed to talk about it in my own words, but no one around me had experienced it the same way.
So I turned to social platforms. I found videos, reviews and comments, but not really the space I was looking for. I could watch what other people thought, or add a comment in front of an unknown audience, with no idea whether it would be understood, judged or simply lost in the void.
I eventually understood that the problem went far beyond that series. We all have things to say about what interests us, yet a large part of it never comes out, even when the urge to speak is there.
So the idea became simple: build a place that reduces the fear of judgement, of being ignored and of speaking into the void as much as possible, so that more people can simply say what they think. That's KiftMe. A safe place to just be you.

KiftMe wants to create better conditions for speaking up: less fear of judgement, less of that feeling of speaking into the void, and more control over the context our words travel in.
Everything we build serves the same goal: helping people feel more comfortable expressing themselves and being who they are.
Our values
Four values that guide KiftMe.
Authenticity
Expression does not need to be polished, brilliant or popular to be worth something. We want to make more room for what people genuinely think, in their own words, with their own sensitivity and their own contradictions.
Respect for expression
Speaking up asks more of someone than simply watching. We want an environment where everyone can choose what they express, move at their own pace and keep more control over the context their words travel in.
People before content
Technology can help organise perspectives and bring them closer together. It should not replace people's voices. What matters to us is that a genuinely lived thought can find a human destination.
Listening before assuming
We do not build KiftMe around what we imagine people should want. We look at what holds them back from expressing themselves, what genuinely helps them do it, and we build from there.

KiftMe started from a personal frustration, but what is at stake today goes much further.
The internet lets anyone express themselves. Yet a minority produces most of what the majority watches, reads and listens to, while many others also have things to say.
As artificial content becomes abundant, I believe it becomes essential to make human expression easier. Because it is our thoughts, our experiences and our disagreements that allow us to understand each other and grow together.
We do not just need more content. We need more human thoughts expressed.
That is what I want to build with KiftMe: a space where more people can feel comfortable enough to say what they truly think.
