A birthday, celebration, special moment or simple gesture: choose the person who would genuinely enjoy this gift.

Create and send the Kift
Pay all or part of the price, add your message, then send the link through the channel that suits you.

They enjoy it
They use their Kift whenever it suits them. If they change their mind, they can cancel it and the amount you paid is refunded to you.
Two paths, depending on the business
In both cases, the Kift stays linked to the exact experience chosen by the person giving it. If it is limited to a location, business or service, those conditions stay attached to the Kift. It is not money to spend freely.
At a partner business
They show their Kift to the business. The exact service or product appears when it is redeemed. If you chose a specific location, the Kift can only be used there. If it covers the full price, they pay nothing upfront. If it covers part of the price, they only pay the difference.
At a business that has not joined yet
KiftMe temporarily uses self-service mode. Depending on the path, you can create the Kift with your own receipt or without having it on hand. The recipient enjoys the experience, pays for the service or purchase, keeps the receipt and uploads it to KiftMe. We check that the receipt matches the service and the conditions you chose, such as the location or business. Once approved, the amount covered by the Kift is reimbursed to their payment method.
Why this mode exists
Self-service lets people gift a service before the business joins KiftMe. The Kifts created show which services and businesses people genuinely want. These signals help us prioritize the businesses to contact about becoming partners. For new gifts, this mode is intended to be replaced by the partner path once the business joins KiftMe.
Your questions about sending a Kift
Do they need to install the app?
No. They open the link, claim their Kift and can use it without creating an account or installing the app.
Can I gift part of an experience's price?
Yes. You can pay all or part of the price. If anything remains, they pay the difference when they enjoy it.
How do I send my Kift?
Send them the link by message or through any channel you choose. If you are together, you can also give them the Kift in person.
What if they change their mind?
They can cancel the Kift. The amount you paid is then refunded to you.
Why do they sometimes need to upload a receipt?
Only when the business has not joined KiftMe yet. In this self-service path, the receipt proves that they enjoyed the service or made the intended purchase. It also lets us check the service and the conditions you chose, such as the location or business, before reimbursing the amount covered by the Kift.

It is a temporary path that lets people gift something from a business that has not joined KiftMe yet. The Kifts created also help us measure genuine interest in its services and prioritize which businesses to approach about becoming partners.
