How it works

Gift at a business that has not joined yet

The gift stays linked to the service, business and, when shown, the address you chose.

  1. 1

    Choose something you love

A specific dish, treatment, book or experience at a business you know. It is not money they can spend freely.

  2. 2

    Create and send the gift

Pay all or part of the amount, within the limit shown, then send the gift to someone you care about.

  3. 3

    They pay at the business

They enjoy the chosen experience, pay for the service or purchase and keep their receipt.

  4. 4

    They upload their receipt

They upload a photo or PDF from their Kift page. After review, the amount covered is reimbursed to their payment method.

Self-service

A temporary path with clear rules

This mode lets you gift something before the business joins KiftMe.

The gift stays specific

The Kift stays linked to the service, business and chosen conditions. If a specific address is shown, it cannot be used elsewhere.

The receipt confirms the purchase

The receipt must match the service and the gift's conditions. Without a valid receipt, the amount covered cannot be sent to the recipient.

Requests guide our partnerships

The gifts created show which services and businesses people genuinely want. They help us prioritize the businesses to approach about becoming partners. Once a business joins KiftMe, new gifts can use the partner path.

Frequently asked

Your questions about non-partner businesses

Can I really gift something at a non-partner business?

Yes, when self-service is available for the experience you chose. The business does not need to have joined KiftMe.

What will the recipient need to pay?

They first pay for the service or purchase at the business. Once their receipt is approved, the amount covered by the Kift is reimbursed to their payment method.

Why do they need to upload a receipt?

The receipt confirms that the service or purchase matches the gift, the business and the address when a specific location is required.

How much do they receive after review?

They receive the amount covered by the Kift, without exceeding the amount verified on the receipt.

Is there an amount limit?

Yes. The limit shown depends on the creation conditions and may be lower than at a partner business.

What if they change their mind or do not use the gift?

They can cancel the Kift. The amount you paid is then refunded to you.

Already know what you want to gift them?

Search for the business or experience you love, then create the gift in a few minutes.
